Best Western 360 Degree Room View

The beds at The Best Western Key West are comfortable, the rooms are in great shape, and the air conditioning keeps it cool. The fridge and microwave were great for the leftovers we had plenty of from the local restaurants. Key West is a restaurant destination more than people give it credit for. There's hardly any of the corporate restaurants you'll find everywhere else in the world. Try to eat at a different place for every meal. You won't scratch the surface of number of places to enjoy. Where the Best Western is located puts you right in the heart of all the restaurants and just a short walk to down to all the bars. Just a little way down Duval and nearly every establishment is a bar, shop, or restaurant. There's plenty of historical sites to see in this area as well. It's peaceful around the hotel and party central down the road. Have fun.

This hotel is great for families, couples, and singles a like. When we go to Key West or anywhere else for that matter, we want to stay next to the main street, yet have it quite in the evening for sleeping. This is hard to find just about anywhere and we have found it here at the Best Western. The pool is kept clean, it's protected from the outside by the hotel itself so dirt and leaves aren't really an issue. I spent quite so time laying next to it and an attendant cleaned it a few times a day. I hate dirty pools. Theirs is deep and sunny. If you want to get out of the shade it moves due to the fact that the shade comes from the buildings around you not from over head. I saw some people who wanted shade and they moved about every three hours or so. If you want sun all day you would probably move once. The hot tub lived up to it's name. We've all stayed in hotels with a warm tub. They kept it nice and hot the whole time. Great for sore muscles at the end of the day of working the bars. The breakfast is fresh and even those they don't charge for it so the price is right. We had an enjoyable stay.

This is a great place to stay if you can get in. My wife and I come here annually and this time we made reservations later than usual and they were sold out. Key West is one of the best vacation spots in the world and certainly the best in the US. It's small and they don't have a lot of hotels, so if you can book a room farther in advance you should do it. I ended up paying more for a dinky little room because I waited. I won't make that mistake again.

I've been to Key West several times in the past eight years & I've always stayed at The best Western because it's the best value. It's quiet, clean and has a free self serve breakfast. I found this site looking for the number to make a reservation. All the other sites force you to book on-line but I hate that. Anyway the rooms aren't super fancy, but are nicer than most. You get two queen beds & a bathroom with two sinks, one outside the main bathroom, a microwave, little fridge and a safe. That's more than a lot of places give you for more money. There also a computer with printer in the lobby you can use for free. again more than what you usually get. They try hard to please and do a good of it.
