We just got back from a wonderful stay at La Te Da. We were in room 19, which is just off of the main outside dining room floor. We were concerned that it may be a little loud, but with the hum of the a/c or the tv on we really couldn't hear anything. Check in was very welcoming and easy. The room was really big and had two queen beds with gorgeous shinny wood floors. I guess some rooms have a small bathroom but the bathroom in our room was enormous. It had an open shower and was perfectly clean. We had a mini refrigerator as well! There was a disco happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with free white castle burgers and hotdogs! Good times. That best describes our entire stay. We had fun there, which is not something you get with most hotels.

The Lateda in Key West is a very nice classic style hotel, and the deluxe rooms quite large. The room and property was spotless and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have found on the net and going there myself seems to be a bit unfounded is that rooms close to the bars and restaurant can be loud late into the night. There's no doubt that the bar and cabaret show are very popular with tourists and locals. Honestly though the noise is not bad a all, but if you are a very light sleeper and like to go to bed early, then maybe this isn't the perfect spot. I'd just ask for a room upstairs in the back, you should have no problem there. The pool is average size, but big for Key West and is cleaned daily. It's surrounded by plush tropical foliage that gives it a nice feel. I'd defiantly stay here again.

We just got back from our trip to Key West and had a lovely two night stay booked directly at La Te Da. We really loved our room and the hotel. Just wanted to add that they have a private sundeck up on the roof. The views are great and if you want to lay out and have total privacy it's a great place. It's an amenity a lot of hotels on the island don't have.
