Reviews

We just got back from a wonderful Key West vacation. We stayed at the Lighthouse Court and I had your page saved on my favorites. We walked to everything including the beach and all over the oldtown area. Duval street is just a block away which was very convenient. I wanted to send in a review and say that this is a great hotel. It has tons of charm and I don't think the location could possibly be beaten. The southernmost beach was great and we found ourselves there almost daily. It's much different than the big name brand hotels in Key West, which we really liked. The free breakfast was great, which we brought back to our room each morning. I also liked booking my reservation directly with the hotel themselves and not trusting a website to that part. The staff is very friendly and I will be staying at the Lighthouse Court in key West on my next trip down there.

We found the Lighthouse Court on Youtube and watched the video there. Then we did a little more research and ended up finding this page! After searching through most of the hotels and bed and breakfasts in Key West, I decided on the Lighthouse Court. Mainly because of the video and the pictures. I felt like I knew more about the hotel and I was more familiar with it than most of the others I had looked at. When we arrived we were greeted by their friendly front desk staff and immediately set out on the town after dropping our bags in the room and saying wow, this is a really nice room! The Hemmingway home is right across the street so we visited there first and it's worth it, especially if you are a Hemmingway fan. Next we meandered down to the Southernmost Point and got our picture taken. We quickly found the southernmost beach and this ended up being the best beach on the island and where we spent a significant time on our vacation to Key West. Duval street is the main street through down town and it's just a block away. The lighthouse Court is only a block away and it is towards the quieter side of town, so noise was never an issue, yet the location is very convenient. Duval street has a lot to offer in bars and shopping. My wife was very happy spending most of a day going from shop to shop, which I have to admit had some nice local art and there was good shopping beyond the usual t-shirt shop and tourist trap type of places. Once back to the hotel we enjoyed the pool and just relaxing in the comfortable bed. They have a nice range of options here from affordable to out right luxury suites that are huge. We're just a traveling couple looking for a good deal on a clean room and we found that at the Lighthouse Court.

My husband and I found the Lighthouse Court Hotel on your See A Room site and here is my review: Loved our Stay! This hotel is the best in Key West in my opinion. They have a pool, great location and really nice rooms for the money. It's not the cheapest, but it's very close in price to the cheap hotels in Key West that are not worth the few dollars you might save. The rooms here are very well kept and clean. The beds are comfortable and the maid service does a great job without waking you up in the morning. We had a few late mornings after enjoying the nightlife and they never once pounded on our door to wake us up so they could clean the room. That alone was very much appreciated. The decor is tropical and welcoming and I noticed that the rooms are unique. Unlike the name brand hotels where every room is the same, each room here has it's own charm and I would describe the theme as tropical elegance. We felt like Key Westers and right at home. The hotel is close to the beach and the old town areas that you'd want to see with outstanding restaurants surrounding it. I think most vacationers like to explore and there is plenty to see and things to do in Key West. The Light House Court is close to the beach and pretty much everything you'd want to walk to, yet it's nicely tucked away next to the lighthouse museum and across from the Hemmingway home. It's nice and quiet with plenty of little sitting areas if you just want to relax and read a book. this is a great place to stay!
