This used to be my biggest fear, traveling alone, but luckily if you choose the right place it doesn't have to be so daunting. I vacationed by myself in November this year at the Key West Bed and Breakfast. The experience of it all left me with good memories. The house was very colorful, extremely welcoming, and simply majestic. My room was less than a bill each night, and just beautifully done. Financially, the trip was a cake walk due to the breakfast and adequate room. I am perfectly happy with my decision to choose the b&b over the hotel options. I was hardly bothered by the other guests and had the feeing that this was home while I stayed there. I adored my room because of its welcoming feeling. It was nice to spend my time reading and an environment so soothing. I totally love the time I sent in the hot tub and garden areas. The bike rentals allotted for a great adventure! The comfy hammock on the second patio was indicative of a Charles Dickens novel, the endings at least. Well, except for Great Expectations, that ending was just allusive. Music piped in gentle arrays on the slightest of breezes. The breakfast that was provided for the guests was intensely tropical. I ate papaya while nestled in the lush greenery in the Key West bed and breakfasts private and ever so cozy sanctuary every day. I immediately went home and purchased an Orange Juice press after this experience. My favorite breakfast choice was the sweet pies. Everyone who worked there varied depending on the time but I found them all to be very nice and helped me with everything that interested me. The terrific location of the b&b was in a beautiful very historically acclaimed residential neighborhood. There was no downside in site while I stayed here. The backyard of the property may not be large, but the photos say it all in beauty. It is Key west after all and the surrounding houses tend to be rather close but a lot of foliage hides all of that. I loved the quaint bathrooms. Event the dreaded cheapest rooms in the house, the shared bathroom rooms are nice. As far as the beaches go I liked Smather's beach the best! But if you rent a bike it is a ways away. You could enjoy the smaller but much closer South Beach all the same. Back at the Popular House the kitchen refrigerator is open for everyone and tea or coffee choices are available all the time. Restaurants that are sure to please and a movie theater or internet cafe are within a decent walking distance. They are located at the quiet end of Duval. I was delighted to travel everywhere on foot an soak in the rich history. The hosts did everything n their power to keep me in the right direction for all my adventuring. Being a single women, I felt safe, secure, and almost loved at this accommodation and Island. Within a few days I got my bearings and felt free to move about the town. Can't wait to visit Key West again and return to my home away from home, the Popular House or otherwise known as the Key West Bed and breakfast

The Key West Bed and Breakfast was the perfect fit for a couple looking to relax in a happening town. We were treated like family, but better. The laid back erythematic vibe that is all about Key West is reflected by the Key West B&B and their fantastic staff. The yummy breakfast consists of homemade breads and muffins, fresh fruit, bagels, great coffee, tea, and all the rest of it. All of our reasonable requests, were fulfilled, they did everything in their power to make us happy. The rooms are beyond pleasant and meticulously maintained. The KWBB is just two blocks from the area known as the historic waterfront. While it is only three blocks from downtown Duval Street. It's so cozy, very comfortable, truly convenient, and extremely kind to your wallet. Could you ask for anything more from a B&B. I am confident that The Key West Bed and Breakfast will meet every one of your expectations! I hope you choose this place and enjoy it as much or more than we did.

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in the heart of old town Key West. The delightful rooms were very clean, reasonably priced and comfortable. The breakfast was more than we had ever received from another B&B. The homemade baked goods perfectly percolated coffee, cakes and pies, fresh fruit, bagels, need I say more? How about dining in a pristine location, picture it, all that I mentioned above and more outside on a cozy, romantic secluded deck. Very nice staff on hand for all your needs and questions. The property itself was quiet at night. We will most definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I would highly recommend the Key West Bed & Breakfast to literally anyone who asked. The accommodations are very comfortable, exceptionally clean and wonderful. The staff is a great resource for requested activities or restaurant suggestions. I am a huge dog lover so I felt even at home when the dogs greeted us in the morning and later on in the day. We sat on the patio while we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a tranquil setting. The B&Bs location is superb because it is just a few blocks off of Duval St. and 2 blocks from the main pier. we both agreed, that this was the best place we have ever stayed at.

My wife and I spent a lovely week and a half with the folks at the Key West Bed and Breakfast. We were welcomed the moment we entered the building and felt the same way our entire stay. We indulged in breakfast foods like home made fruit loaves, fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit assortment & large mugs of great coffee that started us off in the morning on the patio. We had loads of storage space in the refrigerator for our own delightment and refreshments. It was great to have a variety of snacks after a long day of sightseeing let alone the indulgence on that hot tub to soak in. This hotels location in the Old Town was within an easy walking distance to all attractions along with the street map which was provided by the staff made getting around extremely convenient. Their info regarding restaurants that were near by, along with places to see & things to do was wonderful. When we had had enough walking around whilst sightseeing, and wanted to really relax, we were welcomed by the three verandahs with chairs to lounge on. This was a delight to be had in every respect possible. We will relish in the opportunity to visit again.

This is a great hotel alternative because it offers a calm, inviting place of respite from the tropical sun, surf and tiring festivities that are sure to fill your vacation. When you think of coming to this laid back paradise and visiting the Hemingway home, Margaritaville, Truman's Little White House or the Southernmost Point Marker, also think of ending the day in cozy lodging. The Popular House is consistently rated five stars by guests, is inexpensive, and a pleasure to come home to after a fun filled day.
