My hubby and I stayed at the Southernmost Hotel Key West last week and had an unforgettable time. Key West is the perfect place to kick back and let go. The bars are super fun, the restaurants are world class and there are so many of both you could take months visiting them all. If you enjoy fishing, this is one of the best places in the world. I heard it was the fishing capital of the world actually. We booked a trip for the day and caught a sailfish and 27 Mahi Mahi. One of the best days of our life. For dining on fish the local yellowtail snapper was the best fish a ate other than our new love the Mahi. As far as the hotel goes we found it to be the best bang for the buck. We didn't want a shabby room but wanted to spend our cash on things like fishing charters. The virtual tours sold us in addition to the price we got for booking directly. I looked around on the 'booking sites" and they all wanted more than the hotel did booking directly of coarse. I'll come back here in the future but doubt I'll stay somewhere else. I did my homework and got the best deal.

We booked a deluxe pool view room on the second floor. The room on the virtual tour. No surprise, it was exactly what we had expected. Our private balcony overlooked the pool, tiki bar, and hot tub area as shown. One thing you can't get in a picture is that the beds were extremely comfortable. We slept like babies. The landscaper does a great job. Nobody ever gives them accolades. They offer the use of the multiple pools but we stuck the main pool by our room. The tiki bartenders made generous drinks at reasonable prices for Key West not to mention the convenience of being right there. I've been to more than one resort that made me feel a bit disgusted because they charged twice what the local bars charge for the privilege of drinking at the establishment. I thought I paid that when I rented a room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
