We have returned from a great stay at the Pilot House. Our lovely room was steps away from the romantic and large hot tub. We enjoyed our kitchen area which had a full stove,  wonderful microwave, useful dishwasher and refrigerator. It really was nice to be able to enjoy so many great Key West restaurants yet be able to stay at home and cook a few. The simplest things like cereal and coffee on our private porch surrounded by swaying palm trees and lush green ferns was perfection simplified. You know that wonderful feeling of being at home and surrounded by comfort rather than in an unhappy environment like a boring small hotel room? Well, it was like that. Their location is perfect, very near Duval and all of the night life and but quiet and extremely tranquil. The galleries and yes, grocery store is just around the corner from the Pilot House. Walgreen's is very close, and for some reason we seemed to have forgotten a host of things, so this was convenient. We arranged from the front desk to reserve bikes right there at Pilot House and all over the island on the bikes. We would recommend the Pilot House highly to even our most discriminating of friends. Chain hotels might be a comfort zone for a lot of people, and in a destination like Branson Missouri perhaps they are your best bet, but in historical Key West you need to walk away from the hum drum and into the welcoming arms of the Pilot House to truly experience what this great destination is all about. You'll be happy you did.

A blessing for all whom love a great vacation! The Pilot House Guest House in Key West takes the cake for my family and myself!! I would most definitely recommend it to everyone! The area at which it is located is in the middle of down town just a block from Duval St,  and short four blocks from popular nightly Mallory Sq. festivities. An incredible amount of restaurants are within easy walking distance, and a grocery type market is right around the bend. The Pilot House has most tastefully done with guestrooms of impeccable size and colors, and superiorly maintained pool and hot spa areas. The pool and hot tub are so much fun! The rooms themselves are immaculately clean, each day of course, even the tile floors are spotless daily! The poolside tropical cabana rooms are a must do! My experiences with the staff was as pleasant as it could have been. No rank in question, everyone was great from high up to the cleaning crew. I simply cant stop thinking about the wonderful points of the Pilot House!
