Our exciting vacation in
Key West happened in December, and liked staying
at the Pilot House very much. Their location to Duval street and Mallory
Square was not only very convenient but safe. We were just a few sloppy jaunts
to the bars on Duval street, and the adequate grocery store around the corner
helped us with hangovers. You do not need to drive until you have to go home. We
vacationed with a couple of friends of ours, and chose rooms next door to each
other. The room we had came complete with a balcony that was located in the
front, facing fun to watch Simonton Street and an adorable courtyard centered by
a fountain. The balcony was decorated with a Christmas tree! The other couple
who cane with us had their own porch that circled the side of the house, they
were both great however we ended up hanging out on ours and watching all the
people walk by. Both of our respective rooms were immaculately clean and very
cheerful, with lots of space. Each of the rooms had a queen sized bed and had
all of the amenities one could ever need. The kitchenette and the microwave
complete with small refrigerator was used extensively by our party. The pool
pretty cold because it was December so the hot tub got a lot of use. The tub
itself ids located in and amongst the beautiful courtyard. We used it every
night and most mornings. There wasn't a single disappointing aspect that we
experienced at the Pilot House. At first we booked the Pilot House because
because of the reasonable room rates. Now that I have found the great deal and
place to stay I have been dubbed the entertainment director for my group of
traveling friends. That's not so bad, as long as my luck is as good as it was
when I found the Pilot House!
