The video on your site for The Island City House was great. We stayed there a few weeks ago and enjoyed watching it in anticipation before we left. I thought I'd say thanks and send you our review of the place. We booked a suite on the top floor of the Cigar house building. It was fantastic. It was like having our own apartment in Old Town Key West for a week. What a place to live. I liked it so much I may move there.

My fiancé and I found the Island City house on this site and chose to stay there for our Wedding / Honeymoon. When we got back to our room after our wedding and reception, our room was filled with rose petals and had champagne chilling. The setting from a movie is what it felt like. The staff and service as an absolute homerun. Our room was up a few flights of stairs but well worth it. The view from the top is captivating and grounds are just beautiful. They really made our special day the best it could be. Well come back every year if we can.

 My wife and I had a suite in the main building of the Island City house. The room was awesome. It had a kitchenette, which came in very handy for leftovers and impromptu snacks and meals. They were located a short walking distance to all the action. The staff was more than kind. They helped us with deciding where to eat dinner every night and plan daily activities like snorkeling and fishing. We also rented bikes as other reviewers had suggested and rode all around the island and enjoyed the weather. We were lucky and had get weather for riding bikes around the island all day.

Our room was located in the Cigar house of the Island City House compound and was great. It was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. This hotel is in a great area. It's not to far away from the main part of downtown, but it is far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. Will defiantly stay there again when we return.

After staying in West Palm Beach in a five star hotel, this place was really different. What a change of scenery. It was like walking onto a jungle movie set, with a surrounding treetop canopy. There's orchids and tropical plants throughout the entire property and I agree with the reviewer that said it was dream like. We stayed in a room right off the pool it was so nice to take a dip whenever. The decor is warm with a lot of wood in the rooms. From the furnishings to the floor, it stays with a natural theme. Ours had a balcony with comfy chairs and even a hammock. We didn't watch it much but the tv had a lot of channels to choose from. I'm trying to find some points that haven't been said already. One thing that you'll have a hard time finding is someone unhappy. If you like cold, typical corporate type hotel then you may not like this place. It is not your typical hotel. That by means is a bad thing. Our room also had a kitchenette. We found a few little grocery stores around that had everything you need for meals if you want to stay in. Breakfast is served with plastic utensils on paper plates, which some complaints have been written about.  There are real utensils and plates in the rooms with kitchenettes, which I think most have if not all. It's not unusual to have a continental breakfast on paper plates as far as I know. I think that's kind of an industry standard. The food they put out was defiantly up to standard and beyond. Fresh and tasty. I've had a lot of stale free breakfasts in other places. They offered a choice of onion bagels, fruits, and muffins. All the normal stuff, with a nice selection of other foods served buffet style under the tress and orchids. A+ from me, which is more than I can say for the five star hotel I stayed in the night before in West Palm.
