The Sunrise Suites Key West Vacation Rental vacation rental we rented for a week in March was magnificent. We felt right at home as our every need was tended too. If my wife requested something from the kitchen (a tool or bowl) it was available for us. Not often can you bring a family to a destination and need for nothing. Hotels have their place but when you are caring for an infant and two year old you need special things to make the vacation worth the effort. We've stayed at other condo resorts in Key West on past vacations like 1800 Atlantic and right down town at the Center Court vacation rentals. The Sunrise Suites even has a Gym and pool area with hot tub that makes for a resort feel with the down home amenities. It was a very clean and well cared for unit, I don’t know if they are individually owned or what but the atmosphere was quintessential Key West charm on the beach. Speaking of the beach, it is so close that we walked down the pathway adjacent to South Roosevelt each day to enjoy the surf and shore; just beautiful. The only other place that might be better and is right on the beach with an ocean view is the Southernmost on the Beach, which I would like to try next vacation.

I chose the Sunrise Suites Key West as the home base for house shopping in the Keys. Since it is a full vacation rental we found that we needed to only bring our personal items and feel right as rain. The Florida Keys Real Estate was so much fun. We were able to sit out on our patio each evening to discuss the various properties as they pertain to our list of necessities. The only issue that arose in the hunt was the necessity list kept growing as we stayed at the Sunrise Suites. When you are staying at a property like this you tend to become addicted and used to the readily available amenities that the rental has to offer; the Gym for instance or the pool area, proximity to the beach, the view. The list does go on. In the end we ended up settling for a unit right next door to the Sunrise Suites, with nearly the same layout as the rental we had there. I guess it was a serendipitous moment, my choosing this property.
