My husband and I just returned from a week long in Key West. We checked out the internet for a decent inexpensive accommodation and and desperately prayed we wouldn't get the wool pulled over our eyes. We finally settled on the Speakeasy Inn located on Duval St. Wow, we got lucky, this was an excellent choice. The staff was ore than friendly and very helpful. Bill definitely went out of his way to accommodate all of our weird needs, like sinus medication in the middle of the night. He also helped us with our late arrival. The sinus headach was from the plain ride down there, but it went away and did not come back until we got home. The rooms were surprisingly much nicer than the photographs on the websites we saw. The only exception being the Seearoom website, their photos were more realistic. That is why I chose to write our review here. Overall we had a great time and this is a very nice place to vacation at an affordable price. We will stay here again for sure on future visits.

The Speakeasy Inn has beautiful rooms, stellar location, rates and not to mention the cigars. Tom is great owner and host. He makes you feel right at home on the island. We loved everything!

The Speakeasy Inn in Key West was a funky little place to stay. My family and I rented the entire Amelia house, which easily accommodated our three families. Each room we stayed in was really huge especially for Key West! They had two beds, with enough floor space in between to play games if we wanted to (like twister). Our friends the other two families loved their units. A word of advise about the Key West roosters, some people find them a nescience, but we believe that they add to the character that is this little island. You should make up your own mind. They sure didn't bother us! We had no problems whatsoever with this accommodation or vacation!
