Pilot House Key West Guest Reviews
The Pilot House not only guarantees a terrific location but
a tremendous antique mansion with guest rooms filled with island décor.
The hot tub area is so relaxing, and their rates are so reasonable. You
will find everything of interest in an easy walking distance and just a
phone call away for excursions. You have kitchenette amenities in each
of the rooms and a store just steps away to fill your fridge with
cocktails and breakfast foods. The mansion rooms are lovely. We made
friends with a couple who where staying in one of the cabana rooms and
we would recommend those as well. The Cabana rooms are uniquely long
rooms with a great atmosphere. They are very conscious of the
environment at the Pilot House. Their hot tub is solar powered which is
great for the environment and you wouldn't ever know it. The pool is
refreshing and large compared to others in
Key West. The property allows
their guests to be clothing optional at the pool and in the hot tub
areas. The people, the staff, the atmosphere , and the great rates are
all really fantastic. We would recommend this property.
We loyal patrons of the Pilot House and stay with them every year for
the past decade. We have come to love everyone who works there and feel
that they are fantastic by any standards. When we travel to Las Vegas we
always stay at the MGM Grand which is wonderful in there own right,
however we feel that the Pilot House is so much better when it comes to
the service. We have stay din all of the different types of rooms but
the Cabana rooms are the best simply because they are poolside. It
couldn't be easier to get to Duval street if you use the back gate.
Interesting to note it's less than eighty steps away from Duval. It was
a bet, I had to do it, and by the way I won. We will never stay anywhere
else in Key West as long as we can help it. It is the reason we come,
and we have the videos of our trips to prove it.
