Olivia by Duval is not a bed and breakfast, but a simple hotel with quaint rooms that have great tropical style. There are plenty of great breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants all around it. Our room had a coffee maker, microwave, and a mini-fridge. This worked out splendidly for leftovers late at night and early in the morning. For the rates we were paying, it was more than adequate. We noticed they also have large suites if you like space. we look forward to taking another vacation in Key West in the near future, and have recommended it some friends lucky enough to be going down there.

My husband and I stayed at Olivia by Duval for a few nights last week. Olivia's location is the best you can really ask for. It's not even a block off of Duval Street and everything you want is at your fingertips. The hotel is clean not only in the room, but the grounds and the entire building is well maintained. The pool is a bonus for the rates they charge. We had the smallest/cheapest room they offer. It was enough room for us and the bed was comfortable. It's worth the saving for sure. We had a private bathroom and little tv, which are two things you don't get for higher rates in some other hotels I found. We were very pleased with the value we got for our money and I think anyone who is looking for something clean and comfortable at the best rates, Olivia by Duval is your best bet.


I cannot say enough about Olivia by Duval. The atmosphere is inviting and the compared to other hotels in Key West, it's a down right steal. We got a great deal on a large suite. There is something for every kind of vacation here. They offer large suites, multiple room units, and small rooms all for reasonable rates. The hotel is centrally located, so everything from the bars to the beaches are easy to get to. I've stayed in a few different Inns and bed and breakfasts in Key West, and many of them have lousy water pressure. This hotel not only has great water pressure but the most important feature of a hotel room is not overlooked as I have found in other hotels. The bed. They had the best bed I've slept in in Key West. It's lovely out by the pool in the morning for a book and a cup of coffee. Of coarse our room had a coffee maker, but I'm not sure if they all do. This defiantly the place to stay if you want to be close to the bars and action of Duval. Olivia is by Duval. It's also by the Hemmingway house, south beach, the southernmost point, art galleries, and world class restaurants.
