Vacation packages are a great
way to save some cash for your next vacation. Flights to
Key West
are not direct and you will need to fly into Miami, Orlando, or
perhaps Tampa airport. If you are planning on renting a car and
driving down instead of catching a connecting flight, here are a few
tips that might save you some money and make for a fun addition to
your vacation packages. Tampa and St. Pete airports are about an 8
hour drive from Key West. In Ft. Myers there's the Key West Express
ferry boat that is only a couple of hours from those airports. If
you fly into Orlando you can add about an hour to that trip, but
then again you could stop in to visit Mickey. Flying into Miami
allows for a short two hour drive down the most scenic roads and
bridges in the world. Crystal clear blue waters surround you as you
cruise down through these tropical islands. You may want to rent a
convertible.
The watersports and
snorkeling packages we offer are really a great way to enjoy time
with your family and the reef is incredible with over a thousand
different species of fish and abundant wildlife. We now have a boat
that travels up the keys to Looe Key reef. This section of the reef
is unspoiled and just now this trip from Key West is taking place.
The Looe Key reef is considered by many to be the best reef in the
area other than that out at the Dry Tortugas. If you have the
opportunity to snorkel both locations, it's well worth it. The Dry
Tortugas ferry brings you out to an incredible island with a
historic fort and world class snorkeling and beaches.
