My Mother in Law never stays anywhere else in Key West Florida other than the Hyatt. So when my husband and I where to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary we felt it necessary to stay at the Hyatt Key West per my mother in laws instruction. She wasn’t wrong for recommending the Hyatt to us. It was very nearly paradise on Earth. The location of the hotel is superb, the sunsets, the nightlife, the room! We had the most amazing time! It was romantic to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine from room service and chocolate covered strawberries; it was regal to feel the luscious bed linens and plush mattress. It was wonderful to get ready for a night out on the town and walk to the restaurant and later the smoking room (Cuban cigars and brandy). We even caught a show at the local theater that was astounding. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had and made even more special by the importance of the occasion. We have already decided to make this an every five year anniversary thing. Next vacation however, we may stay at another oceanfront resort that offers a beach and perhaps is a bit cheaper. We like the looks of the Casa Marina Resort which was right on the beach. We also took a look at the Lamer and Dewey House that is on the southernmost beach and probably the nicest Bed and Breakfast in Key West.

The Hyatt Key West was a superior lodging for my last holiday. The suite we rented left nothing to be desired. The décor of the room was wonderful and very tropical. The cleanliness was four stars like you would expect from a Hyatt resort. The location could not be beat. We were so close to the action that we needed only to traverse the hallway to the ground floor t be in the center of it all. I have stayed at many different accommodations in the past in Key West. Some of the bed and breakfasts are lovely but if you are looking for a meeting room, gym, huge pool, and room service you need to stay at something with a staff that reaches over five people. The Hyatt Key West was even more beautiful that other Hyatt’s I have stayed at in other parts of the country. My traveling companion and myself were so pleased in fact that we chose to write this review so that others may try the hotel. As a rule I never write these things but then again I have never had such a superior hotel experience before.
