The Duval Inn  is a great little diamond in and amongst historical Down town Key West. We stayed in the what they call the Key West room. No surprises here because the hotel was recommended to us by a friend, it was very clean and nicely decorated in a tropical island theme. The  courtyard area had plenty of places to relax, read a book, or get some sun. And the pool, well we really loved dipping into the pool. We made the error of driving our car don so it was nice to know that they have on site parking for a tiny fee. We never needed our car but it was good to know it was safe and accessible all the same. The area or location of the Guesthouse was perfect, it is only a half block off popular Duval Street. If you have never been down to the Keys before Duval Street is the area at which you will find almost anything you could ever want to do in the island. All of the shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance that will comply with anyone's tastes. We liked the traditional tropical bars that Duval Street is mostly known for the best. Some of them like Sloppy Joes and Hogs breath were regulars of ours every day. The Duval Inn is within walking distance to everything. We were really pleased with how the staff of the Inn helped us, they were very friendly and a joy to stay with. We will definitely stay here for each visit to Key West!!

This accommodation is a quiet little B&B located on Angela St. about a half a jaunt from Duval St. The historical atmosphere is really spectacular indicative of old Key West. It is the most perfect place to stay for families and couples alike. I say this because we recently stayed at the Duval Inn with my brother in law and his family. My wife and I had our own room while they had their own two. A total of three rooms were rented, the yunketers had their own digs which was nice because the two couples could enjoy some adult time. The two twin girls are older so it was safe and allowed, they are both seniors in High school. The pool on property was a favorite spot for everyone to meet and talk of the days up and coming adventures. Sometimes the girls just stayed by it all day while the adults went out and did other things that did not interest them as much. For some reason they always managed to come with us for shopping though, couldn't imagine why two young ladies would want to go shopping. The rooms we all had were absolutely beautiful, bright, and very clean. We particularly liked the whole look and feel of the house itself. Plenty of places to explore and notice. You would think that a location so close to Duval Street would be noisy but it really was not. Something bout being on that little side street Angela, that protects the Inn from the brunt of the noise. The staff at the place are wonderful and the amities offered were excellent. My wife and I have stayed at the Duval Inn many times, including our very special honeymoon, but this was the first time we had ever taken any one with us. Since we prefer it to the chain hotels they were insistent that they come to stay with them too. The Amanda Room is our favorite, so ask for it. You wont be disappointed here!

We stayed at the Duval Inn in Key West over the Easter Break. My best friend and I took the trip together to get away from our finals. We are not spring breakers, in that sense, but graduates of Medical School. What made this a particularly special trip for us was the change in nature of our relationship. You see I am a female and he is  male. we have known each other since we started college years ago. The romance did not start until we came to stay at the Duval Inn. There is just something about the place that was so alluring to us. The pool, the location, décor, and of course the atmosphere. We had such a great time on the Island, and our clean and beautiful room was always inviting. Quiet and serine we were able to relax and get to know one another even better. I am pleased to announce that we are due for a December Wedding this year and are looking forward to honeymooning in the same place that we fell in love at the Duval Inn.
