Dolphin Tour Reviews

One of the greatest decisions I ever made on our weeklong trip to Miami, was to make the drive down to Key West. At approximately four hours away, the drive to Key West is remarkable and one that every American should make in their lifetime. The thing I was looking forward to most was snorkeling during our vacation, and I figured what better place to do so than in this gorgeous place.

After some research back in our Miami hotel room, we decided to give Sunny Day Tours a try as the reviews all seemed great. What's more, I noticed a tour which combined both snorkeling and dolphin watching on their Dolphin Cat, and then I just became downright antsy. I had never seen dolphins in person, so the idea of doing both was an incredible bonus.

As soon as we arrived in Key West we made our way to Sunny Day ready to go explore. First and foremost, wow! My fiancé and I were happily surprised as everything about the trip was outstanding. The Catamaran was intimate, yet spacious. We especially loved having few people aboard, as smaller tours can so often be a more enjoyable experience than large, crowded tours.

Furthermore, from the moment we were aboard, we realized the Captain and crew loved dolphins. Their knowledge and expertise proved invaluable and enhanced our dolphin watching experience. It's fair to say we spotted around 20 dolphins (although who's counting?). The best part of the trip was their dolphin playground.

Afterward we were taken to some of the best spots for snorkeling. The crew hands out your own snorkel gear, so having your own is not a necessity. I simply must say that snorkeling in Key West is phenomenal and we saw many beautiful, colorful fish and the reefs were excellent. The length of the trip was approximately three hours.

The Sunny Day Catamaran Tours, and specifically the Dolphin Cat, are well worth the money. For anybody who makes their way to Key West, it's imperative you give them a try. As a very satisfied customer, you simply won't regret it!
