 Days Inn Key West

Our hotel this trip was the first one we saw when we entered the city of Key West proper. That was convenient. We stayed at the Days Inn Key West. It was a very good value for the room. Typically hotels and motels in Key West are very expensive because of supply and demand I suppose. We booked online to be sure that not only would we have a room to stay in, that has happened to us before, drove down and were forced to drive back up and stay in Marathon Key. We also wanted to save some money by purchasing online. We checked around while we were there just for grins and found that we really made the right decision. My son loved the pool area. It was tough getting him to come away form the water at all hours of the day and night. We could watch him from our room as well, that was nice. We enjoyed our stay.
The best part about staying at the Days Inn Key West for vacation was the food! Breakfast was a breeze being so close to the restaurant. We also saved a bit of cash by staying in such an economical room. It was clean and antiquate. Much like every other Days Inn I have ever stayed at. The bed was comfortable and the proximity to the beach was really good to. We drove each day but we really could have walked if my husband was not so lazy. The kids had a ball. At first I was concerned about taking the kids to such a notorious adult playground but my fears were unfounded. We were able to go to several museums, Mel Fisher was the favorite, and the beach was a must each day for a couple of hours at least. I would take them back to the Days Inn in Key West again. It was a great trip.
