We stayed for two incredible nights at the Chelsea House and found it to be one of the most comfortable accommodations we have ever stayed in. Upon entering the room for the first time you feel like the space is homey and quaint. The coziness of the antiquely tropical setting was so  attractive to us. Our clean bright bathroom opened up onto a portion of the deck that was indeed shared by a few other rooms but  was very romantic. The bed was also comfortable and the sparkling pool was a fresh reprieve from the summer sun. The included breakfast was chock full of breads and pastries. The coffee was quite strong but very good, and I like strong coffee. While my wife and I sat around the pool and ate breakfast in the morning we felt like we were in a tropical paradise all our own.
 

My husband and I returned home from our week long vaca at the Chelsea House in Key West Florida. We are  pleased to report that the overall  accommodations were superb. The Chelsea House staff get 5 stars if ever anyone deserved them. Debbie was all peaches and crème! Extremely friendly, helpful, and especially for useful for those first timers like us. They gave good suggestions about snorkeling trips, some very useful bike rentals, and lots of places to go. We stayed in the unit they called the Conch suite which conveniently located just around the corner from the pool on the first floor. The Conch suite has it's own deck with chairs, and allot more privacy than other accommodations offer, we were told. We looked at some others, and they were right, we did get the best deal. The room was simply clean and very well laid out, the large king bed was most comfortable and the adorable sitting area offered a pull-out sofa bed. Our air quality was cooled efficiently and quietly. We don't know what we would have done without the mini-fridge. The Chelsea Houses pricing, the location, the staff, everything, helped make our Key West Vacation fun, very relaxing, one could say a vacation to beat all others.
