At the final hour my husband said "Lets go to Key West for the weekend!" So naturally I was forced to find something  last minute. Would you believe that the Chelsea house was available at a great rate of under one hundred dollars! Usually  hotels with this kind of pricing will leave a bit to be desired. Not this great priced hotel. The room was an amazing size with two beautiful queen beds, a large television, mini-fridge and good sized bathroom. We were delighted with the table and two chairs that sat outside the room, a sort of patio. The wonderful staff was friendly and most helpful. Breakfast was great and tasty. The pool and decking was well kept and extremely relaxing. Their location was way more than we could ever have expected with such great room rates.  I would  return to the Chelsea house at any time with pleasure.


We made the mistake of reserving a different hotel at the North end of the island. I don't know what we were thinking. Next time we will pay attention to sites like See A Room and adhere to the recommendations of the pictures, reviews, and accommodations that are listed on reputable websites. After one night at that nasty hotel with the noisy families frolicking all around like animals we were so happy to leave and re reserve at the Chelsea House! Not only did they accommodate our needs but they upgraded our room. We had a full kitchen, a romantic private balcony and a glorious bed and breakfast to call home for the next six wonderful days. What more could we ask for we literally had a horrible vacation that was magically changed into a wonderful one and it was all due to the Chelsea House.
