1800 Atlantic Condos Key West Reviews My husband and I just returned from our vacation to Key West Florida. We searched for a long time on your site and many others for the perfect vacation rental or condo on the beach. We were surprised that for an island finding a beach front condo is actually a bit tough, and they are not cheap when you find one. I finally came across this page and called for availability and felt I was pretty lucky to find such a nice place at such an affordable rate during season especially. We almost waited to travel until off season, just because it seems our dates were right at the peek of season. We thought we'd save a little by renting a condo or vacation rental with a kitchen and eat in while having drinks at restaurants and bars. We usually do this when we travel to vacation destinations that have been discovered like Key West. We both really enjoy cooking anyway. In addition to being right there on the beach, I like being able to really see what I'm booking. There were vacation rental places and condos that had maybe one or two pictures of their condos on line and I really don't feel comfortable getting a peek at the room. Your site is appropriately named See A Room. You guys have a full video, 360 tours, and great pictures of the condos. It made the decision easy for me and I wasn't disappointed at all. 1800 Atlantic ended up being our home away from home for the last week and I have to say it's been one of the best vacations we've ever had. The condo had a truly spectacular ocean view. It was really breathtaking. We watched boats and jet skis go by while we sat out on the balcony just soaking it all in for hours. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The pool was huge and we used the grills and pavilions a couple of times as well. Smathers beach is beautiful. After watching people having so much fun on jet skies, we decided to rent a couple for ourselves and had an absolute blast. I had read that the beaches in Key West were not that good. I don't know what those vacationers might be comparing the beaches to in other places, but smathers was great. The sand was nice and soft and the beach had to be a mile long. The water was warm and a tropical blue green color. If you like wave and playing in the surf, then the beach in Key West might not be your choice. There are no waves, but I personally like that. I like to swim and wade in the water. I'm no spring chicken, so playing in the waves is not my idea of a good time. After a day of just enjoying the condo, we ventured out and rented a couple of scooters. We decided to just fly in and got a cab from the airport. You don't need a car unless you're planning on going up the Keys or don't like riding scooters. We had a great time on the scooters and parking them was easy. Scooters and bikes are the main source of transportation in Key West. We went all around the island and visited the bars and did some shopping. If you're planning a trip down to Key West, you really have a huge variety of activities to choose from, and it also happens to be really laid back as well, so it's great for a simple relaxing vacation as well. We'll definitely come back to Key West, and will be staying at 1800 Atlantic again. I'm glad to have found a place and know that I'm staying in the best condo for the best price. Great site.
